Lady Gaga embraced the role of murderess Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci and stayed in character on the set at all times.

Lady Gaga became “unhinged” and “terrifying” when she embodied the role of a murderess.

Lady Gaga stars as Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci and stayed in character for three months on the set, speaking only in an Italian accent.

Make-up artist Frederic Aspiras has revealed Lady Gaga ’s method acting was just as alarming as it sounds.

Frederic says: “We were literally with Patrizia every single day. Towards the end, when she started to get unhinged, it was quite terrifying. But it was magnificent to watch a performer transform before your eyes.”

Gaga – who lost out to After Love’s Joanna Scanlan in the Best Actress category at the EE British Academy Film Awards – admits: “My family were very upset with me they had to deal with me every day in the trailer. “I had to love her to play her. She is someone that committed murder but she is also a strong Italian woman. She came from a strong family and she had good values until she lost her way. I wanted to tap into the way women are multi-dimensional complicated creatures. We should be showed in our complexity.”

Gaga walked on two red carpets on Sunday night, getting redressed – or rather, undressed – for the Critics’ Choice awards, left .

She was nominated for Best Actress, but lost out to Jessica Chastain for The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Will Smith says there was ‘no infidelity’ in marriage

BEST Actor winner Will Smith insists there has “never been infidelity” in his marriage.

The King Richard star’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, admitted having an “entanglement” with singer August Alsina.

But Will insists: “There’s never been infidelity in our marriage. Jada and I talk about everything, and we have never surprised one another with anything ever.”

He has previously said Jada “never believed in conventional marriage”.

Whatever the semantics, it evidently works for them.
