Molly-Mae Hague has responded to the speculation that she’s ‘split up’ from her boyfriend Tommy Fury.
The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, have been in a relationship since their time on the ITV reality series and even live together in a property in Manchester.
Some fans however have expressed concern recently that the pair have gone their separate ways, with the rumour having attracted Molly-Mae’s attention on social media this week.
She was asked about the relationship in a Q&A on Instagram, which she took part in earlier this afternoon.
One fan seemed to believe that the pair had broken up, asking the 22-year-old: “Why have you and Tommy split up?”
The social media influencer responded by sharing a photo of her kitchen, which appeared to feature Tommy in the background – seen in a green t-shirt and dark shorts.
Alongside the photo, Molly-Mae – who is the creative director of fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing – wrote: “If I had a £1 for every time someone asked me this.”
The Q&A comes after the reality TV star opened up to fans last week, revealing in a new video on YouTube that she’s been going through “one of the hardest periods” of her life.
She said that this included a “massive battle with anxiety” and added that “everything’s literally just spiralled down” since moving into their new house.
The couple relocated to their new property last month after their previous home was targeted by burglars in October.
And in the new video, which was posted on Friday, Molly-Mae said she was being her 22-year-old boyfriend’s “rock” whilst he goes through a difficult time himself.
The professional boxer is understood to have suffered a recent injury which has led to the cancellation of his highly-anticipated fight with Jake Paul
The speculation over Molly-Mae and Tommy’s relationship comes amid the recent news that Love Island alums Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank have broken up.
In a joint statement, the couple – who met on the reality show this year – said: “We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship.”
“We have had a fantastic journey and we will always have a special bond between us. We will continue to be very much in one another’s lives and support each other in every way.”
They added: “Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a new normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us.”
