Asda is selling a dupe of Hotel Chocolat’s £99 velvetiser for just £25

If you’ve had your eye on the Hotel Chocolat frother for a while, you can bag the Asda dupe and make a £75 saving.

It wouldn’t be the perfect cup of coffee or hot chocolate without the delicious milky froth that gathers on the top.

And now, you can take your drink of choice to the next level with this bargain milk frother from Asda.

The George Home black milk frother is priced at just £25 – that’s a whopping £74 less than Hotel Chocolat’s velvetiser which sells for £99.

Asda’s frother has two button controls and automatically switches off after you’ve heated or frothed your milk.

It’s suitable for plant-based liquids too, so you can froth everything from soya to oat milk. There’s a 150ml capacity for frothing and 300ml capacity for drinks.

It seems many savvy shoppers have already bagged the bargain as it’s sold out on the Asda George’s direct site, however, it’s still available via Asda Groceries – but you better be quick adding the handy kitchen device to your shopping cart.

If you’re planning on treating yourself to one, make sure to factor in the cost of delivery if you’re ordering online – standard delivery costs £2.95.

Although Asda’s frother looks incredibly similar to Hotel Chocolat’s £99.95 option, there are a number of differences between the two.

Hotel Chocolat’s velvetiser comes in three colours – including white, copper and charcoal – and you can adjust the handle depending on whether you pour left or right handed.

However, as useful and stylish as the gadget is, at £99.95, it’s a pretty steep price point, which is why shoppers have been going wild for Asda’s super affordable dupe.

One fan on Twitter called it the “best purchase I’ve ever made”, while another called it a “game changer”.

There’s plenty of other milk frothers on the market to choose from – and we’ve even spotted some other bargain options from Amazon and Argos.

Pick up this stylish MisterChef Automatic Milk Frother from Amazon for just £29.99 which heats up to 300ml milk for delicious lattes or flat whites.

Argos is also selling a Cookworks milk frother for £32.99 which has a non-stick coating for easy cleaning and can hold 200ml of milk.
