Charlotte Dawson has been snapped looking noticeably slimmer after giving birth.

The Ex on the Beach star has spoken about her struggles with diabetes and her issues with keeping her baby weight off.

The 29-year-old daughter of the late British comedian, Les Dawson was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her pregnancy.

After giving birth to her son, Noah, the mum of one was warned she was at risk of developing type two diabetes.

Charlotte was advised to take on a new exercise regime after developing the condition that affects one in 20 pregnant women.

The star initially thought the weight loss was just part of her pregnancy and carried on with her diet of gorging on chips and gravy.

Doctors advised her to change her diet after a visit to the GP where she admitted she felt ‘a bit funny’.

Charlotte was also left terrified after her 70-year-old mother was diagnosed with condition.

She said: “I started this fitness journey with the goal of avoiding type two diabetes because I had gestational diabetes and was warned I was still in danger after Noah was born.”

She added: “My dad had it and died when I was just eight months old, so it really was a wakeup call to start getting fit.”

Type two diabetes is a condition can lead to stroke, blindness, heart disease, kidney failure, limb amputation and early death.

The star has been looking slimmer than ever since her diet overhaul and has been praising her rigorous fitness regime for the weight loss.

She previously posted a split-screen video of her dancing in front of her mammoth TV set before and after her slimdown.

Charlotte, who gave birth to her first child Noah with fiance Matthew Sarsfield in January, said she was “bettering my life” for her family.

It came after she the star, whose late comedian dad Les suffered from diabetes, was diagnosed with gestational diabetes when she was pregnant but has made a recovery.

Dancing around in some tight undergarments, she wrote: “Still not the best at sit ups like 🤣 but I’m feeling proud of myself.

“I never thought I could change my lifestyle & my food to help me with my diabetes scare.. but here I am!! 👏🏽.

“I canny believe I’m actually exercising now & enjoying it!! I used to hate it 🤣 I get asked so much about how I’ve changed everything around, shall I make an insta for you all & join me on chazzas journey??
