Premier League icon David Ginola has a new home in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Well not jungle, exactly. It’s actually more of a castle in the Welsh countryside.

Even so, he’ll be holed up there for at least a couple of weeks away from his stunning girlfriend – 28-year-old French model Maeva Denat.

Maeva has over 6,000 followers on Instagram, and is no stranger to posting a few raunchy snaps of herself – with a particular appetite for topless beach snaps.

The French beauty also shows off her various tattoos in her saucy snaps, including a small heart and ‘peace-sign’ fingers on her left arm, and a large inking on her right shoulder.

In one shot, she’s seen wading out into the shallows on a beach in the Maldives with nothing but bikini bottoms on.

In others she pouts for the camera and shows off her stunning curves while wearing some very revealing lingerie.

Dotted around are a few family posts, including cute couple snaps with David, and photos of her adorable infant daughter.

The mother-of-two shares three-year-old daughter Ever with David, as well as an older daughter, Linoi, with a previous partner.

Meanwhile, David is also father to father to son Andrea, 29 and daughter Carla, 25 from his 25-year marriage to ex-wife Coraline Delphine.

David, 54, was previously married to model Coraline and the couple have two children together.

But after they split, David moved on with stunning model Maeva who is 22 years his junior.

Their relationship was confirmed just weeks after the Frenchman suffered a near-fatal heart attack in 2016 while playing in a charity football match in France.

The incident saw him declared ‘clinically dead’ for eight minutes before paramedics were able to revive him.

Footballer David and French model Maeva began dating in 2016, when they were photographed together in Paris, the same year that he divorced his first wife.

During his time in I’m A Celebrity, David got emotional and cried when he admitted: ‘I love my girlfriend more and more everyday.’

Speaking to The Source after his eviction from the castle, the sporting icon said: ‘what I missed the most was making love – especially when you do it every day.’

The Tottenham legend admitted that being apart from Maeva made his time in the camp difficult.

Two years on, Maeva gave birth to the couple’s daughter.

David joins the likes of Arlene Phillips, Frankie Bridge and Richard Madeley in this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here, which launched over the weekend.

For the second year in a row, the show is taking place in Wales, rather than the traditional Australian jungle, due to Covid-19 concerns.

Ginola made a name for himself in the Premier League as a graceful, flamboyant winger.

He’s best remembered for his stints with Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, but enjoyed brief spells with Aston Villa and Everton before retiring in 2002.

The star also admitted to missing much more variety whilst there when it came to the food, saying: ‘In the castle, I missed many things.

‘I missed food, because rice and beans is good for a few days but after two and a half weeks… You know, I don’t think I’m going to eat beans for the rest of my life.’

The former Newcastle United star also spoke on the harsh conditions of life in Gwrych Castle, admitting: ‘The cold was really a massive aspect of life in the castle’.

The Frenchman won the PFA Player of the Year award while playing for Spurs in 1998 and was selected in the PFA Team of the Year on two separate occasions.
