Laura Howard is an English actress who has been working considerably on screen since her early twenties. She is well acknowledged for starring in ‘Midsomer Murders,’ where she portrayed Cully Barnaby’s role.

Laura has been part of the British drama series from 1997-2011. Besides playing a supporting role on the long-running show, she has also played recurring roles on television shows.

Laura Howard made her debut on television in the series Casualty,’ where she a short role portraying Victoria Leach. Soon after, she got another role in ‘Covington Cross,’ in 1992.

In the same year, Laura got her first major role in the film, ‘So Haunt Me.’ Laura played the role of Tammy Rokeby in the comedy series for two years.

Being a beautiful and talented actress, Laura had to opportunity to get other plenty roles. In addition to that, she was also part of short films such as Be Good (2009) and Get Well Soon (2011).

Laura has also made several appearances in theatre productions in the UK. For instance, she appeared in Ayckbourn’s play called ‘The Norman Conquests’ in 2012.

Laura Howard has done her best to ensure that she stays away from the media. Could it be that she retired from acting already? Research shows that her last role was as Cissy Pilkington in the Television series ‘Call the Midwife.’

The series followed a band of nurses in the 50s as they try to handle the day to day demands of their profession. It first aired on January 15th, 2012, on the PBS network.

Nine years on, and the show is in its ninth season. It features the likes of Helen George, Judy Parfitt, and Jenny Agutter. Laura’s work on the show helped it earn a series of notable awards. These include a British Academy Television Craft Award and a National Television Award for Outstanding Drama Performance.
