THE BEST DEFENSE IS MORE OFFENSE

T

The heading pretty much explains all of it. We all know it is coming from the famous martial art series the ‘Cobra Kai’. It goes without mentioning that how it is a continuation of the film. The Karate Kid as anyone who has watched the series would know it shows the movie flashbacks directed to the film released in 2010. For those who are new, the film was about a kid named Kai who was bullied at school and later on learned Karate to beat his bully in his own native country despite being severely injured. The first episode of Cobra Kai dates back to 2018 and since then the season has raised immense enthusiasm in the audience and of course, if you are watching this series it’s a promise that the seasons will have to drive you through a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

This series is not filmed the conventional way but it is made a trilogy where the directors have connected episodes to the film in a way that it feels more like a resumption than a sequel which gathers two segregated sorts of the audience, one who already liked the Karate Kid and the other one who like martial arts and action movies in general, upon combining the two the series are getting super hit.

Apart from the direction, the actors are to be praised more since their acting is what gave life to the storyline which was also commendable however poor performance could’ve let it down which, fortunately, is not the case here. Speaking of actors, William Zabka who played Johnny Lawerence is an undoubtedly great actor but we could experience more of his skills in this TV series where he is seen as someone who has risen after a fall and his character is all about how second chances can work through though not being the hero, it is an art to gather all this attention and admiration of fans which Zabka succeeded to get. With that being said, Lawrence’s wardrobe also caught the spotlight, and why not? The series has production as excellent as any other crew.

THE JOHNNY LAWERENCE  BLACK LEATHER JACKET

For starters, the black Cobra kai leather jacket that Johnny Lawerence is seen wearing is a complete attire on its own. Crafted out of faux leather, lined with viscose with knit cuffs and waist what more comfortable yet stylish one demands? Going into detail you’d notice how the stand collar has a belt strap lock to complement the look when there is a signature ‘Cobra Kai’ snake monogram on the chest that makes this jacket specifically for Cobra fans. The good thing about such a blazer is you can pair it with anything either it’s a pair of blue or black pants, a white shirt on the inside, or any other color T-shirt and you are all set to rock!

JOHNNY IN DENIM

Apart from leather this one time Lawerence is seen wearing a denim jacket too and yet again, it gave us major iconic style goals. The best part of wearing denim is you can carry it casually as well as fancy since it never goes out of fashion, Johnny Lawerence’s designers did a genius move putting it on the screens. A little about the jacket for you to decide if it’s actually worth it. With the traditional shirt style collar, it has two chest pockets and a routine buttoned front closure. The pockets are however with a buttoned closure cap in contrast to cuffs that too have a buttoned conclusion. According to the viewer’s response, this denim jacket is one of the most liked articles in denim especially when it’s worn by Zabka, it has to have its value increased which is understandable but other than that the jacket itself is a product of quality and style.

THE JOHNNY LAWERENCE RED LEATHER JACKET

One of the most admired and in-demand articles includes this red leather jacket that Johnny was seen wearing and not gonna lie it is something to get crazy about. William Zabka wore a bright red bomber leather that opened from a stand collar that had a strap attached to it. The signature monogram of the ‘Cobra Kai’ is also there on the chest in bright yellow and orange contrasting colors. Just above the monogram is the chest zip-up pocket nevertheless the other two pockets are at the waist and zipper-less. The thing unique about this clothing item is the double line front closure. It has a YKK zipper and with that is a line of buttons giving it an unusual front conclusion also the buttons on the line of the zipper are black click buttons. As mentioned earlier it is a bomber jacket that leads us to see knit cuffs and waist nevertheless the designs are not at all altered by this fact instead the stitchery and the greasy texture of real leather enhance the color as well as the minor details.

This jacket, out of all got the most attention and the reasons are pretty noticeable. In the end, it’s all so clear that wardrobe does affect the popularity and reputation of series, of course, it falls secondary to acting, direction, storyline, cast, production, and other inclusions but it is a part that plays some kind of role to a greater extent. This is because, after the release of the Cobra Kai series, the demands of leather jackets inspired by this series or the characters of Daniel, Johnny Lawerence, and other celebrities not only increased but created a whole new style statement that is here to stay. On the other hand, the fact that all of these jackets are breathable, with durable stitching is also alluring since most of the time things that appear attractive on the screens are not really a good buy but the case is different here.

This was about the jackets worn by Cobra Kai actors, we will catch up with you on more celebrity-inspired apparel soon.
