Which 4K TV is the best buy right now?

W

Whether you’re budgeting or you’re looking for the absolute best on the market, we’ve got some terrific TVs that are great value and offer great picture quality, great brightness, and a ton of incredible add-ons that’ll blow you away.

With an upcoming shift in the 4K TV market gearing towards OLED, QLED and this year’s QD-OLED models, it’s a great time to pick up an impressive 4K TV for an amazing price.

The three major brand competitors; Sony, Samsung and LG have an incredible selection of TVs right now; from 43 inch TVs  to 65 inch OLED TVs, there’s an amazing array of incredible televisions to suit your needs right now.

Samsung UE43AU7100KXXU 43” Smart 4K TV

Starting off with an incredibly basic, yet perfect choice for your living room, at a fraction of the price of some of the latest 4K TVs right now.

Samsung is constantly at the forefront of TV tech, recently announcing their all-new micro-LED TV line-up for later this year.

While this isn’t as technically impressive as their micro-LED TV, Samsung’s UE43AU7100 remains an absolutely solid choice for great picture quality, at a very reasonable price.

Our primary nit-pick with this TV is its lack of gaming support. You may find some input lag and low refresh rates with the UE43AU7100, which is a small price to pay for great value.

LG 55 Inch OLED55A16LA

At almost double the cost of our previous choice, we still think LG’s OLED55A16LA OLED TV is the absolute best value television right now.

Incorporating the highly coveted OLED technology, LG’s 2021 4K TV is an all-round gorgeous television and will not disappoint. Ultra-thin, ultra-sharp and at a great size for the lounge, it’s not hard to see why the LG 55” OLED55A16LA is a best-seller.

Once again, however, you’re looking at slightly lower performance while gaming with a 60Hz refresh rate, but if you’re looking for the perfect upgrade to OLED that isn’t going to break the bank, this may be the TV for you.

SAMSUNG QE43QN90AATXXU

QLED TVs are more often than not, expensive and have worse refresh rates than OLED, yet Samsung’s 2021 Neo QLED TV is at an unbeatable price for one of the best TVs on the market.

Neo-QLED brings even smaller LEDs to the table, giving you a fantastic colour range and even better picture quality. For less than £1,000, Samsung’s QE43 is undoubtedly one of the best deals you can get right now.

It’s also perfect for gamers with 120Hz refresh rates, which is unheard of at its price.

Do yourself a favour and pick this one up if you want the ultimate gaming experience for your home.

LG OLED55C14LB
55 inch TV

Looking for the ultimate OLED TV for gaming at a great price? LG’s OLED55C14LB 55” 4K TV absolutely knocks it out of the park in terms of all-around value.

A stunning OLED display and built-in AI 4K Processor that upscales picture and sound in real-time, as well as a plethora of HDR add-ons to get those true colour contrasts, this is the perfect TV for everyone in your household.

The icing on the cake? A 120Hz refresh rate, meaning for the gamers in your house, they can enjoy 4K gaming at 60 FPS without breaking a sweat.

That means no input lag and the smoothest gameplay you can imagine—no screen tearing or stuttering at all, thanks to the built in AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync tech.

Sony BRAVIA X90J

Our final bargain that really brings some terrific value to the table, the Sony BRAVIA X90J istruly a great deal. Regardless of not being QLED or OLED, the picture quality still to our eyes is stunning.

While not offering the latest and greatest picture quality, the deepest colours or the best contrast, it still manages to get a 120Hz refresh rate, which is exceptional for gaming.

It’s also got a built-in Google Assistant as an added bonus, which is a ton of fun to use.

We cannot recommend it enough.
