Britney Spears explains disappearing neck tattoo as she tells haters to ‘kiss my a**’

Britney Spears has addressed her seemingly disappearing neck tattoo after eagle-eyed fans spotted the ink was missing in one of her recent photos.

The singer, 39, had revealed the ink on the back of her neck for the first time in June, but posted a naked photo of her back in the bath on Thursday, in which the tattoo no longer appeared to be visible.

After getting quizzed by her followers about where the tatt went, Britney posted a quote image, adding: ‘Ok so … I edited out my tattoo on my neck cause I wanted to see what it would look like clean…

‘And yeah I like it better so while you guys are talking behind my back go ahead and kiss my a** haters!!!!!!’

The subtle design had gone unnoticed prior to Britney sharing a snap of it last month, as she posed in a hot pink bikini.

She told her followers: ‘Hot pink makes my tan pop!!!! Have you seen the tattoo on the back of my neck before????

‘It’s Hebrew, it’s a language written backwards!!!! It says Mem Hey Shin and means healing!!!! It’s my favourite tattoo but ironically you never see it!!!!!’

Britney’s latest posts come in the midst of her ongoing conservatorship battle, after she asked the judge to free her from the rule she has been under since 2008.

Following her public breakdown in 2007, Britney’s personal and financial decisions have been controlled by her conservator.

She has since asked the judge to free her from the order and remove her father, Jamie Spears, as conservator after sharing a bombshell testimony with the court.

Britney had claimed the rule was doing her ‘more harm than good’ and claimed she even has to keep an IUD in her body to stop her from having any more children with her boyfriend Sam Asghari.
